A project based on a play titled "Hughie" written by Eugene O'Neill. Our class was assigned to work on the same text but modified it to where the dialogue of the characters were removed. Each student also was given an obstruction, I was not able to print my design. Thankfully, our department has a laser cutter and I utilized that as a way to "print" my book.
To make the book more visually interesting, I set up the right pages to contain different parts of speech like nouns, verbs, adjectives and etc. By using a french fold binding technique I was able to have sheets of color pages between each one to have the parts of speeches stand out from the white of the paper. After spending many hours of cutting, each page was around thirty minutes, I titled the book after the laser cutter.
