In Spring 2019, I took an independent study class to focus on branding and packaging design. Being a tea lover, I used that as my product. A japanese green tea brand that sells teas from Uji, Kyoto. This was an exploration to learn more about the importance of branding and packaging.
The Kyoucha brand also implements symbols that represent areas of Kyoto such as the Torii gates at the Inari Shrine, and the hills that surround the area. Creating a wholistic system was a very eye opening experience to see how each piece had importance to the brand itself.
